Abby is from Minnesota but spent her last 6 years in Missouri for college, she turned 13 on a Friday the 13th, and her family has a pet Pygmy goat.

Abby earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Missouri – Columbia. She completed both of her Level II Fieldworks in pediatrics, including a school-based placement and a children’s hospital. She loved being able to work with a variety of children and families during these experiences. Abby especially enjoyed the opportunity to work with infants and families in the NICU. She is passionate about early intervention, community skills training for adolescents, and becoming trained in feeding therapy. During her therapy sessions, she can often be seen getting in on the action and joking with her friends. Abby loves to use her therapeutic spin to incorporate her client’s interest with the just-right-challenge to help the child achieve their goals! Abby is so excited to be a part of the CI team and work closely with children and their families to create a holistic and family-centered therapy experience. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time outside, trying new things, exploring the Madison area, and reading (especially when by a lake or pool).
