Abby earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from UW-Madison. She is trained in a variety of feeding therapy strategies including the SOS Approach to Feeding and is honored to guide families through the process of teaching their children to enjoy food. She is passionate about sensory integration and educating families on how to best support children’s sensory needs. During her therapy sessions, she can often be seen crawling, climbing, swinging, and jumping through an obstacle course with her friends. Her best sessions are ones that follow the lead of the child with Abby’s support to infuse a therapeutic twist to them. Abby absolutely LOVES being a part of the CI team and enjoys working closely with children and their families to create a family-centered therapy experience. When she’s not at CI, Abby is the ringleader of chaos at home playing with, cooking for, and loving on her own kids. She also enjoys doing yoga, being outside, and trying new restaurants.
