Abby enjoys spending time with her four cats and being outdoors. Whether she's camping, fishing, kayaking, or simply taking a walk in nature, she values opportunities to recharge outside. Growing up, Abby dreamed of becoming a firefighter, and today she continues to serve her community through volunteer emergency medicine work.

Abby is a Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to creating a supportive, compassionate, and engaging therapeutic environment. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Rehabilitation & Human Services from the University of North Dakota and a master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Before joining CI Pediatric Therapy Centers, Abby worked in community mental health, providing services to both adults and youth. She has a passion for supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and specializes in working with clients experiencing PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Abby incorporates humor and playfulness into her sessions while drawing from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing.
