Alyssa is a huge college basketball fan, especially of the Wisconsin Badgers--she never misses a game. She loves lattes and trying new coffee shops. She also enjoys reading, spending time outside, and catching local comedy shows/open mic nights.

Alyssa is a Licensed Professional Counselor- In Training. She completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a master of science in clinical rehabilitation counseling and is a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC).  She has experience supporting children and teens with a wide range of diagnoses including TBI, anxiety, ADHD, autism, and depression in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She draws from CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. She also has experience with neuropsychological assessments. At CI, Alyssa brings a background in neuropsychology and a commitment to disability inclusion. She is especially interested in helping clients navigate identity, emotional regulation, and connection through a strengths-based, affirming lens. She strives to bring warmth, compassion, and humor into every session, because growing and healing can (and should) have moments of joy, too.
