Andrea studied in Freiburg, Germany for a year in college. She has two cats (Carmelita and Disa) and a zebra nerite snail (Shelly). She has played the violin for over 30 years!
A Wisconsin native, Andrea earned her BS in Human Development and Families Studies and MS in Occupational Therapy at UW-Madison. She has been practicing OT in the Madison area, working primarily with older adults for the past 10 years, but is excited about joining the CI team to partner with children and families. Andrea brings a broad range of experiences to her pediatric practice including teaching preschool in San Diego, supporting disabilities research at the UW, and assisting Madison teachers and students in the classroom. She is creative, family-centered, and play-based in her therapeutic approach. In her free-time, Andrea enjoys camping and hiking, knitting and crafting, baking, and exploring Madison and beyond with her family.
