Ashlea graduated from Calvin College with a bachelor’s of psychology. She graduated from the occupational therapy assistant program at Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan. Through fieldwork, Ashlea had clinical rotations at school-based and inpatient settings. Ashlea worked at Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation as a rehab technician with long term care and transitional patients. She further worked as a COTA, specializing in brain and spinal cord injuries also through Hope Network Neuro Rehabilitation. She has enjoyed being apart of the CI team! She has special interest in sensory integration, interoception, ADHD, and aquatic therapy. Ashlea strives to bring joy and creativity into her sessions. Ashlea enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, exploring coffee shops, spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
