Cassandra earned her bachelor of science from Kansas State University and her master of science in speech-language pathology at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. During graduate school, she worked in an intensive language acquisition preschool, a reading summer camp, an elementary school, and at the Central Texas VA. As a fellow veteran, she is passionate about supporting military families. Prior to CI, Cassandra worked in the state of Maryland as a school-based speech pathologist, where she coordinated extensively with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success. She enjoys engaging children through music, movement, and play to promote language development. Outside of work, she enjoys biking the beautiful trails Madison has to offer but if you happen to catch her, chances are she will be out wrangling groceries, her daughter, and her dog.
