Cayla Carden

Cayla has a passion for traveling; one of her best trips was having the opportunity to conduct research for UWL in the beautiful country of Belize! She loves anything with coffee in it, and could eat avocados with every meal.

Cayla graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. She hopes to further her education by pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Back in La Crosse, she loves being a mentor for The Physical Activity Mentoring Program for Persons with Disabilities where she meets with an outgoing, young mentee with right hemiparesis and incorporates a variety of fun physical activities into their sessions every week. She is very passionate about helping children of all ages and with diverse array of special needs in order for them to reach their full potential! She has been apart of CI since she graduated high school and can be seen at the front desk, being an extra hand in social groups, and assisting in individual sessions. Being a part of such a fun, positive, and creative environment is one of the many reasons why she loves working at CI! During her free time, she loves to stay active with playing every sport under the sun, making DIY projects from her filled Pinterest boards, and cheering on her favorite sports team, the Packers and Badgers!
