Elena holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She has experience providing compassionate, individualized care in both school-based and clinical settings, delivered in person and via telehealth. Elena is dedicated to strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and family-centered therapy, and she emphasizes building authentic, collaborative relationships with clients and caregivers. She has specialized training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), trauma-informed care, and emotional regulation-sensory integration strategies, in addition to her experience supporting language development through a Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) clinical lense. Elena’s feeding therapy approach integrates Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) and Responsive Feeding frameworks, along with family coaching, to support children struggling with picky eating, oral-motor challenges, eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE), or dysphagia. Elena sees clients for both traditional and intensive speech therapy in Fitchburg and at the Advance Center.
