Emilie grew up in North Central Wisconsin. She enjoys creating in the kitchen with new, fun recipes. During graduate school, Emilie traveled to Australia to collaborate with students and researchers in the field of speech-language pathology.

Emilie received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Christian University. Emilie has been at CI for 1 year and is passionate about serving pediatric clients in her community. She has received training in Natural Language Acquisition for gestalt langauge processers and completed continuining education about serving children who are tube fed. Her clinical interests include early language development, speech sound disorders/articulation, and Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Emilie is passionate about family-centered therapy, parent-training, and therapy sessions that are focused on each child’s unique needs and interests. In her free time, Emilie enjoys trying new foods, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
