Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in health promotion from the University of Georgia and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Columbia University. Emily has experience working with children in community-based settings, schools, hippotherapy, and sensory-based clinics. She developed a passion for promoting independence through life skills training during her time at GiGi’s Playhouse, working with youth and adults with down syndrome. Emily loves interdisciplinary collaboration and thinking outside the box to provide fun and meaningful therapy to help clients and families reach their goals. In her free time, Emily can be found reading, playing with her labradoodle puppy, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
