Emily is trained in Beckman Oral Motor Protocol Assessment and Intervention and has completed Tethered Oral Tissues Special training.

Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She earned a certificate in Assistive Technology and Accessible Design. During graduate school, Emily participated in the Interdisciplinary Technology Instruction Program for Individualized Technology Implementation Planning (ITIP2) training program, which emphasized providing collaborative care among SLPs, OTs, PTs, and special educators. Through the ITIP2 grant, Emily participated in clinical externships which focused on pediatric feeding and swallowing, assistive technology, and collaboration. Emily is trained in Beckman Oral Motor Protocol Assessment and Intervention and has completed Tethered Oral Tissues Special training.
