Emily received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She earned a certificate in Assistive Technology and Accessible Design and is working toward her Assistive Technology Professional certification. During graduate school, Emily participated in the Interdisciplinary Technology Instruction Program for Individualized Technology Implementation Planning (ITIP2) training program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs. This grant emphasized providing collaborative care among SLPs, OTs, PTs, and special educators. Through the ITIP2 grant, Emily participated in clinical externships which focused on pediatric feeding and swallowing, assistive technology, and collaboration. Emily is excited to join the CI team and work closely with families and team members to provide each client the best care!
