Heidi graduated from Wright State University with her bachelor’s degree in Sports Science. Next, she spent a year working at a local elementary school. After that, she attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Heidi’s desire to go into the field of occupational therapy stemmed from going to work with her mom when she was younger and spending time with the kids in her special education class. Heidi’s passion to help those with disabilities is evident as she has worked with kids with autism, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays. In Heidi’s free time you can find her running, working out, playing volleyball, and hanging out with family and friends.
