Jessie graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies: Early Care and Education. After graduation, she moved to the Madison area where she worked with Early Head Start. There she held the role of Lead Teacher and transitioned to the role of Center Based Family Support Specialist. This allowed her to gain experience in working with families to meet their many different needs through community supports. During that time, Jessie also obtained her Portage Project Family Service Credential. Jessie has also worked as a Care Coordinator with a Wisconsin based Medicare Advantage plan. Jessie enjoys doing arts and crafts with her son and reading stories. She also loves exploring the city and surrounding area.
