Julie earned a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from UW-Madison. She has extensive experience working with children and adults in clinical, school, and community settings. She is passionate about determining ways to unlock a child’s potential in all areas of their life! She is trained in the SOS approach to feeding, Astronaut training, and numerous other approaches. She completed a Sensory Processing Disorder level 1 Intensive Mentorship of the STAR model and is SIPT and Interactive metronome certified. In therapy sessions, Julie likes to tie the child’s interests into play-based therapy to create a fun, yet rewarding therapy environment!
In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going boating, hiking at state parks, and is always looking for new adventures! She is very excited to be part of the CI team, and can’t wait to meet new friends!
