Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in 2016 at UW-Whitewater in Advertising and Marketing. Shortly after that, she discovered an interest in Occupational Therapy and completed her associate’s degree at Madison College. Before joining the CI team, Katie taught swim lessons at her local pool, worked as a respite provider for children with autism, and spent two years as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 and special education in the Stoughton Area School District. She is excited to join the CI team and experience the amazing family-centered therapy experience. Katie is passionate about child-driven therapy and loves learning from children’s creative and energetic young minds. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Disney movies with her two cats, taking lots of nature walks, and hanging out at her family’s lake house.
