Katie is a yoga instructor. She enjoys being Up North in Minocqua during the summer. She loves anything with chocolate!!

Katie double majored in Communication Sciences & Disorders and English and earned her bachelor’s degrees from UW-Madison. She earned her master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from UW-Milwaukee. Katie has experience as an SLP working with individuals of all ages, from 3 to 110! She is currently a full-time SLP for Monona Grove School District and is looking forward to being part of the CI Therapies team part-time. She is passionate about AAC and language development and about educating families on how to integrate a child’s AAC device at home. During her therapy sessions, she enjoys incorporating stories, music, technology, and all things fun and high interest to her friends! She is also excited to do her sessions in the sensory rooms with lots of games and activities to choose from. Katie is ready to join the CI team and enthusiastic to be part of such a fun, positive, and family/client-oriented environment. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, taking walks with her dog, Winnie, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
