Kayla graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare. After graduation, she worked as a Family Advocate with Early Head Start families in Dane County and completed her Infant, Early Childhood, and Family Mental Health Capstone Certificate program through UW-Madison. Kayla has also worked as a Care Coordinator for a Wisconsin-based Medicare Advantage plan, serving Medicare and Medicaid eligible clients. Kayla grew up in Madison, WI and has a younger brother who is deaf and hard of hearing who utilized many supports and services around the area after he was diagnosed. Kayla is passionate about being a support and advocate for families in the community because of the wonderful services and people who were a big part of her brother’s life. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter, Eleanor. As a family they love spending a lot of time outdoors and tailgating at Packer football games. Kayla is excited to be a part of the CI Pediatric Therapy team!
