Kayla Darkow



Kayla’s favorite foods are tacos and chocolate chip cookies. She thrives on coffee. She loves to cheer on the Packers and Badgers!

Kayla graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare. After graduation, she worked as a Family Advocate with Early Head Start families in Dane County and completed her Infant, Early Childhood, and Family Mental Health Capstone Certificate program through UW-Madison. Kayla has also worked as a Care Coordinator for a Wisconsin-based Medicare Advantage plan, serving Medicare and Medicaid eligible clients. Kayla grew up in Madison, WI and has a younger brother who is deaf and hard of hearing who utilized many supports and services around the area after he was diagnosed. Kayla is passionate about being a support and advocate for families in the community because of the wonderful services and people who were a big part of her brother’s life. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter, Eleanor. As a family they love spending a lot of time outdoors and tailgating at Packer football games. Kayla is excited to be a part of the CI Pediatric Therapy team!
