Laikyn Boettcher

Laikyn grew up on a hobby farm. She has been in fifteen musicals! She has three brothers.

Laikyn earned both her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education and her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from UW-La Crosse. She holds a WI teaching license for children from birth through sixth grade, and she was previously a behavioral line therapist for an in-home therapy company. Laikyn completed her clinical work at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee and at UW-Health at The American Center in Madison. She is excited and honored to combine her wealth of knowledge in child development and teaching strategies with her clinical experience in occupational therapy and pediatrics in order to serve children and their families in CI’s collaborative environment. Laikyn is passionate about all things occupational therapy and about finding the right fit for every kiddo while communicating with families as to how to best support them in daily life. She loves to play and have fun, getting to know children through climbing, jumping, singing, role-playing and adapting sessions to whatever a kiddo might need. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with her family, being an auntie to her nephew, going to musicals, working out, exploring farmers’ markets, and trying new restaurants (especially ones that have tacos!). Laikyn couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of the CI team and to work with children and their families to help them reach their fullest potential!
