Lexi DeMario

Lexi is terrified of birds, clowns and storms. She loves nearly every kind of cheese! She is obsessed with traveling/exploring new places.

Lexi earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her master’s degree from Louisiana State University. During graduate school Lexi gained experience with all ages, from NICU to Geriatrics, in a wide variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, acute care hospitals and schools. While Lexi found multiple settings enjoyable, she is most passionate about feeding (specifically how tongue and lip ties affect breastfeeding and oral mobility), early intervention, and traumatic brain injuries. She can often be seen playing, laughing, sitting, rolling, crawling, making crafts, and collaborating with other disciplines in order to make the most out of each therapy session. In her free time, Lexi enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating and paddle boarding on the lake, exploring new places, and eating nachos and sushi (but not at the same time!).
