Mara received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. During her graduate program, she was funded under a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and received specialized training with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and the use of telepractice as a service delivery. Mara’s clinical interests include children with neurodevelopmental disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Mara is passionate about providing family-centered care and working closely with an interdisciplinary team. She enjoys the creative and energetic environment found at CI. When Mara is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and playing with her dog. Mara is thrilled to be a part of the CI team!
