Marie’s favorite food is guacamole. Her favorite trip was to Tanzania. You can always find her with caffeine in hand, usually chasing around her two energetic boys!

Marie has been an SLP with CI for over 8 years. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders from UW-Madison. She has extensive experience working primarily with children in both outpatient and school settings. Through her other work experiences, Marie has provided home-based therapy and in-home personal care for children with autism diagnoses, as well as children with other developmental disabilities. She has a variety of experience working with children who have articulation and language disorders as well as children who use AAC (Alternative/Augmentative Communication) devices. Marie identifies as an SLP generalist, and enjoys seeing clients who present with various needs-articulation/phonology/apraxia of speech, receptive/expressive language, fluency, social communication skills, literacy, and AAC. Marie has been trained in: AAC methods, such as LAMP and PODD, the Get Permission Approach to Feeding, and training on various phonological approaches. A passion area for Marie is supporting older clients with developing neurodiversity-affirming goals as they develop into adolescence. Marie loves to take a playful approach in therapy sessions, and enjoys collaborating with parents and other providers to best serve clients. In her spare time, Marie loves spending time with her family, baking, and going up north to the lake!
