Megan's favorite food is mac and cheese. She can say the alphabet backwards, and she has hiked the Swiss Alps!

Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Des Moines University. Her passion for occupational therapy began around the age of 10, as she had the opportunity to attend therapy sessions with her sibling. This opportunity allowed Megan to explore the creative and meaningful aspects of occupational therapy and the importance of incorporating motivating activities and occupations. Megan is passionate about play-based therapy and has experience working with clients on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and those with medically complex needs. She strongly supports family-centered care, collaborating with families to develop creative solutions and individualized strategies that help children build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in their daily lives. Megan is committed to creating a supportive, engaging environment where each child can develop skills, reach personal goals, and increase participation across all occupations. In her free time, Megan enjoys baking, traveling, and reading!
