Megan's favorite part of childhood was having picnics in her backyard. She thinks fried cheese curds are the perfect food and she loves to find treasures at estate sales!

Megan earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Megan has been an occupational therapist at CI for nearly a decade! She has experience working with individuals with a wide variety of diagnoses including cerebral palsy, autism, TBI, burns, SCI, stroke, and developmental disabilities. She has participated in continuing education in the Analysis of Movement from an NDT Perspective, infant massage, sensory integration, interoception, environmental design and the Get Permission feeding approach. Megan loves being a part of the CI team! In sessions, she enjoys following a child’s lead and is passionate about providing family-centered care. Her favorite thing to work on with kids is self-care skills through play contexts. She also loves to problem solve adaptive strategies and fabricate devices to help kids increase their level of independence. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
