Michelle grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin and enjoys serving the youth and families of Wausau and the surrounding communities! She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UW-Eau Claire and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from UW-La Crosse. She has worked with children for many years through her roles as a swim instructor, assistant early childhood teacher, lifeguard, childcare provider, and occupational therapist. Her major clinical experiences included treating and learning from children in a pediatric outpatient clinic and in a neonatal intensive care unit. She loves fueling imaginations, playing on the floor, and being silly while bringing a calm and patient energy to her work. Working with children makes her heart very happy! In her free time, Michelle enjoys swimming, spending time at the lake, hiking, ice skating, and playing board, dice, and card games with friends and family.
