Michelle loves geography, especially maps and the Great Lakes. She closes her eyes when she brushes her teeth. She has figure skated at the Badger State Games on a synchronized skating team.

Michelle grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin and is excited to serve the youth and families of Wausau and the surrounding communities! She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UW-Eau Claire and her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from UW-La Crosse. She has worked with children for many years through her roles as a swim instructor, assistant early childhood teacher, lifeguard, and childcare provider. Most recently, she has spent time during her clinical experiences treating and learning from children in a pediatric outpatient clinic and in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She loves fueling imaginations, playing on the floor, and being silly while bringing a calm and patient energy to her work. Working with children makes her heart very happy! In her free time, Michelle enjoys swimming, spending time on the lake, hiking, ice skating, and playing board, dice, and card games with friends and family.
