Olivia has been with CI for 5 years. Prior to CI, she worked for a birth to three program in Milwaukee, WI. Olivia values continued education and evidence-based practice. She has special training in treating childhood apraxia of speech, including PROMPT level 1 and advanced training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing. Additionally, Olivia has been trained in the Natural Language Acquisiton approach, a method for helping children who learn langauge through echolalia. She is certified in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk, a program that teaches parents strategies to help their children learn language naturally. In her free time, Olivia enjoys traveling and doing outdoor activities like downhill skiing, walking her golden retriever Ellie, and swimming.
