Rachel earned bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. She then obtained a post baccalaureate certificate in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and after that she received her master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. During her capstone year, Rachel worked for United Cerebral Palsy providing in-home and community-based therapy to kids of various ages. During graduate school she had experience working with both adults and children. Her clinical rotations included work in an adult acute care setting as well as in an elementary school serving students with a variety of communication needs. Rachel is passionate about collaborating with families and other professionals to implement strategies both in therapy sessions as well as outside of the clinic. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, hiking, and kayaking. She is excited to be part of the CI team!
