Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Purdue University. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Mary’s College in Indiana. She knew she wanted a rewarding career working with kiddos, so she followed her passion to become a speech therapist in a pediatric setting. Rachel is a kid at heart, so working in pediatrics was a natural calling! She completed a variety of clinicals during graduate school, but her favorite was her pediatric outpatient clinical. She has previous professional pediatric outpatient experience, including during her clinical fellowship year, and she is excited to continue her career at CI! Rachel has worked with children of all abilities and strives to help each child reach their full potential. She loves using a play-based approach while targeting the child’s goals to make therapy fun, yet productive! Rachel enjoys building a rapport with not only the child, but with their family as well. She wants the family to feel included to create a family-centered therapy journey. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time on lakes in the summer, cheering on the Packers, running, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
