Rose is the president of the Madison Symphony Chorus and a board member of the Madison Symphony Orchestra. She is also featured vocalist with the Ben Ferris Octet and her own group, Luminaria. Rose studied abroad for a semester in Valencia, Spain in college and tries to learn as many languages as her brain will hold. She will never turn down chocolate or cheez-its.

Rose earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and music from St. Norbert College and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from UW-Madison. She has been treating clients since 2013 and has been at CI since 2021! Rose has specialized knowledge and training in the areas of feeding and swallowing therapy, working with children on feeding tubes, early intervention, bilingual language acquisition, and voice therapy including Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (PFVM) disorder. Her treatment philosophy always includes following the child’s lead and finding how to create the most functional impact in their lives. Rose is certified in DIR Floortime approach, AEIOU Integrated Approach to Pediatric Feeding, working with Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs) who use alternative augmentative communication (AAC), and myofunctional therapy. Rose enjoys clinical mentorship of all kinds, especially for students or new therapists. Outside of work, Rose is the president of the Madison Symphony Chorus, an avid consumer of audio books, and a Harry Potter fanatic. She loves going on walks with her dog, Lola, watching Formula 1 racing, and planning her next travel adventures.
