Sam has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UW-Madison and a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Concordia University – Saint Paul. During PT school, he developed a love for working with children while creating a program for adapted aquatic therapy for the YMCA. He is thrilled to be a part of the CI team and to be helping young people become more mobile and independent. Sam is passionate about creating a positive, strengths-based environment when working with children in the clinic and loves to incorporate play and fun into each session. To him, any PT visit that includes laughter and hard work is a visit well spent! He is a certified practitioner of Dynamic Movement Intervention, a technique that promotes progress towards developmental milestones. A Midwesterner through and through, he is originally from the Milwaukee area but is so thrilled to call Madison home! In his free time, Sam loves to camp at state and national parks, go hiking, play games with his friends and family, and take road trips with his wife Catie and their dog, Marty!
