Schye attended Concordia University of Wisconsin and received her Master’s degree in occupational therapy, Summa Cum Laude. She is a lifetime member of Pi Theta Epsilon, National Honor Society for OT. Schye traveled to Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal during graduate school for a global education trip. Her favorite part of the trip was visiting various cerebral palsy clinics and providing staff with Sensory Processing and Sensory Integration training. Schye has experience working as an OT in the Wisconsin Public School System, specifically within Elementary School ages. Schye’s personal mission is to treat others with compassion and empathy throughout her life and profession, as well as to utilize her experiences, expertise, and creativity to help others reach their optimal functional performance. Schye’s favorite occupation is play, her favorite way to play is to be creative and to get messy whether it be with paint, glue, glitter, markers, or all of the above!
