Shalla is a snack fanatic and likely has something hidden in her backpack, office, and lunchbox. As a Madison native, her unchanging favorite Babcock ice cream flavor to get at the Union is Blue Moon on a wafer cone. She has inherited the travel bug, and has been lucky enough to have seen many US National Parks, Costa Rica, London, Ireland, Thailand, and Banff National Park in Canada.

Shalla graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Kinesiology – Exercise and Movement Science. After making a giant excel spreadsheet of dream PT schools across the nation, she decided another 3 years as a Badger was too good to pass up, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UW-Madison as well. Shalla has always had a passion for being around kids, whether that be as a camp counselor, youth soccer coach, volunteering at Three Gaits (a therapeutic riding center), and in physical therapy. Her therapeutic philosophy is to ensure no one leaves a session without laughing! Previous experience includes pediatric sports rehabilitation, inpatient pediatrics, and amputees. In her free time, she enjoys playing any and all sports, like ultimate frisbee, golf, and tennis! But when the inevitable Wisconsin winters arrive, she does just fine as a couch potato relaxing and watching any food competition show.
