Shannon completed her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her time at UW-Madison, Shannon worked in research focusing on children with autism with feeding and mealtime challenges and their families. Prior to graduate school, Shannon worked as a behavioral technician with children with autism in ABA therapy. Shannon has experience working with children with autism, developmental delays, anxiety disorders and ADHD through her second school internship at an outpatient pediatric clinic in California. Shannon is passionate and eager to learn more about pediatric feeding. During her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and reading.
